Hyderabad is a district in Sindh province of Pakistan. The City of Hyderabad served as the capital of Sindh province from 1947 to 1955. Its history dates back to medieval times. Previously known as Neroon Kot, current city Hyderabad was build in 1768 over the ruins of Neroon Kot.
Hyderabad is the 6th largest city of Pakistan and 3rd largest in Sindh. City is well connected by road, rail, waterways and air with rest of the country.
The city has well known education institutes, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET) and Sindh University. It has many historical places like old Mud Fort, Sheikh Makai Fort, Kalhoro Monuments, Talpur Monuments and Miani Forest.
